Step-by-step instructions for how to withdraw funds from Voice.

If you are here, it means you are probably new to crypto payments and ready to withdraw your hard-earned money from Voice.

Moving your money from Voice to USD Coin (USDC) and from USDC to your bank account is quick and easy on Voice.

If USDC is your first foray into cryptocurrency, don’t worry. USDC isn’t subject to volatility like other coins you may have heard of and is considered a stable coin, which means it is tied 1:1 with the US Dollar. 1 USDC always equals $1 USD.

Overview

We recommend that you set up an account with Coinbase*. Go to https://www.coinbase.com from a browser on your computer, or download and open the Coinbase app for smartphones on Android or iOS to get started.

What you'll need:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • A government-issued photo ID (Coinbase does not accept passport cards)

  • A computer or smartphone connected to the internet

  • A phone number connected to your smartphone (Coinbase will send SMS text messages)

  • The latest version of your browser (we recommend Chrome), or the latest Coinbase App version. If you’re using the Coinbase app, make sure your phone’s operating system is up-to-date.

Here are the steps for cashing out your Voice balance to your Coinbase account:

  1. Set up a Coinbase account using Coinbase's instructions here.

  2. Open the Coinbase mobile app, log into your account, and click on the "Pay" button at the bottom right corner of your screen.

  3. Choose "Receive" and then change the asset source to "USD Coin".

  4. Copy the address that generates beneath the QR code.

  5. Go to voice.com/cashout.

  6. Paste your wallet address and click "Continue".

  7. Enter withdrawal amount and click "Continue".

  8. Preview the withdrawal details and double check that all the information is correct. Click "Confirm" when ready.

  9. After confirming, you'll see a pop up message letting you know your USDC transfer is on the way and may take a few minutes to show in your Coinbase account. Note: request speeds may vary based on network availability.

Moving your money from Coinbase to your bank account

Assuming you have successfully transferred your Voice balance to Coinbase via USDC:

  1. Login to your Coinbase account.

  2. Click the Buy / Sell button in the top right hand corner.

  3. Navigate to the Sell tab and select USD Coin to sell. Deposit to Cash should be selected by default.

  4. Click on Sell Now.

  5. Go to the Menu on the coinbase.com dashboard and click on Assets

  6. Scroll down to view list of Your Assets

  7. Click on US Dollar

  8. Click on the Cash Out tab

  9. Enter the amount of cash you’d like to transfer to your bank account and click on Continue

  10. Add a payment method if you haven't already: Follow the prompts to add a debit card or bank account, or select a previously added account. Click on Continue

  11. Review your Cash out preview. If correct, click on cash out now

  12. The transfer speed depends on your bank and could take up to 3 business days. Learn more here.
