To ensure Voice is a community of real people, each user must complete the identity verification process.
- Take a selfie clearly showing your face.
- Upload a picture of a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Upon successful verification, you will set up your Voice username to start using Voice.
What happens to the data that is collected during the identity verification process?
With few exceptions the information you provide is used for this purpose only, is not shared with anyone else, and is automatically deleted after a period of time.
Why do I need to complete the identity verification process?
Voice is about engaging with real users. A user’s identity being tied to what they are saying in public is a core component of Voice that we hope will foster a more transparent and productive online experience.
