What is sending?

Sending is when one Voice account sends one of their owned NFTs for free, to another account on Voice. This is also known as "airdropping".


Is sending free? Is there a fee?

Sending an NFT on Voice to another Voice account is free, there are no fees to send or claim NFTs on Voice.


Why would I want to send an NFT?

Sending an NFT can help to share your work with new audiences and provide access to your art. This feature can also be a great way to promote a new project or used as a means of distributing bonus/unlockable content that accompanies an NFT purchase. The possibilities are endless.


What NFTs can I send?

To send an NFT, the NFT must:

  • Be owned by you and within your account Voice.com collection.

  • Not be listed for sale or auction.

  • Not be sent off-platform on another blockchain.


How do I send an NFT?

Before you begin

  • Log in to your Voice account.

  • Ensure your NFT meets the criteria outlined in the "What NFTs can I send?" FAQ.

Steps

  1. Visit the listing page for the NFT you want to send.

  2. Click the button with the "paper airplane icon" located under the NFT media.

  3. From here, you'll see a pop up where you can choose to send your NFT directly to an account through their Voice.com username or generate a reusable claim link.

    1. Send directly to a username. In the text box under "Recipient" input the username of the Voice account you'd like to send your NFT directly, then click the "Submit" button when ready. Note: Be sure to double check the spelling for the username. Entering the wrong username can lead to an error or sending your NFT to the wrong person.

      After double checking the recipient username and clicking "Submit", you'll then see a notification message on Voice confirming that you've sent the NFT.

      Troubleshooting tip: Accounts can only directly send one edition of any NFT at a time. If you directly send an NFT to a person, you must wait for this person to either claim or reject your NFT first, before you can then offer the next available edition to a second person directly.

    2. Generate a claim link. Share the generated link to allow anyone to claim the NFT by clicking the box next to "Generate claim link" and then clicking the "Submit" button. Note: Anyone with access to the link can claim the NFT, if you wish to control who can claim your NFT, please use the direct send option.

      After clicking "Submit", a pop up will appear with your reusable claim link for you to copy and share.

      Troubleshooting tip: If you need this claim link again in the future, simply visit the NFT listing, and click on the "paper plane icon" for this pop up to reappear for you to copy the link again to share.


Can I create a reusable link?

Yes, so long as your NFT meets the criteria outlined in our FAQ "What NFTs can I send?", you can create a reusable claim link to share using the instructions provided within our "How do I send an NFT?" guide.

All NFTs offered through reusable claim links are on a first come-first-serve basis until all available editions are claimed.


What if I can't send an NFT and/or see an error message?

If you can't send an NFT:

  • Ensure your NFT meets the criteria outlined in the "What NFTs can I send?" FAQ.

  • If you've sent this NFT directly to a person via their Voice username in the past, they may not have claimed or rejected the NFT and will need to before you can offer the NFT directly to a second person. You may need to remind the person to claim their NFT offer.

If you still can't send an NFT and/or see an error message:

  • In this instance, please contact our team at [email protected] for assistance with a link to the NFT. If you are seeing an error message, please take a screenshot or video of the error for our team to best troubleshoot.


What is receiving? Is there a fee?

Receiving is when you receive an NFT offer to claim for free from another account on Voice.com. This is also known as "airdropping". There are no fees to receive and claim an NFT on Voice.


How do I claim an NFT?

There are a few ways to claim an NFT on Voice:

  • Direct send "Airdrops" tab.

    • Log into your Voice.com account and click your profile image located on the top right of the page. You'll then see a dropdown menu and click "Airdrops".

      Note: Anytime you have new Airdrops to manage, you will see a red notification dot appear within your profile image as well as next to Airdrops in the dropdown menu.

    • After clicking "Airdrops", you'll then be brought to your Unclaimed airdrops page where you can view and manage your unclaimed airdrops.

    • When ready, click the "Claim" button to claim the NFT. The system will take a few short moments to process the claim request and once complete and successful, the button will then display "Claimed".

    • Once claimed, you will then be able to see your new NFT within your "Collected" tab on your Voice profile. Note: After refreshing this page, all previously claimed airdrops will no longer appear in your Unclaimed airdrops.

  • Direct send email link.

    • When a Voice account sends you an NFT directly, you will also receive an email notification. In this email, you can click the button "Take me there" to claim your NFT.

    • After clicking the button "Take me there", you'll be brought to a Voice page to claim the NFT. Once on this page, continue by clicking the "Claim" button.

    • Once claimed, this page with update to "Claimed" and you will then be able to see your new NFT within your "Collected" tab on your Voice profile.

  • Claim link.

    • Click the claim link you've located, it should look like this example with a chain of letters and numbers at the end. Example: https://www.voice.com/airdrops/XXXXXX

    • After clicking the claim link, you'll be brought to Voice.com to claim your NFT.

      • If you have a Voice.com account and are already logged in, you can click the "Claim" button to claim the NFT.

      • If you do not have a Voice account or are not logged in, you will be brought to a page to create your account while also claiming your first NFT. If you already have a Voice.com account, you can log in using the "Log in" link provided at the top of the page under the text "Sign up to claim your NFT".

      • Once you've filled in your information, click the "Sign up" button at the bottom of the page, you'll then have a new account on Voice.com and your first collected NFT can be found within your "Collected" tab on your Voice profile.


How to I reject a sent NFT?

  1. Log into your Voice.com account and click your profile image located on the top right of the page. Then click on "Airdrops".

  2. After clicking, you'll be brought to your "Unclaimed airdrops" page where you can manage your current claimable NFTs sent directly to you.

  3. Locate and confirm the NFT you'd like to reject and click "Reject".

  4. The system will take a few short moments to process the reject request and once complete and successful, the button will then display "Rejected".

  5. After refreshing this page, all rejected airdrops will no longer appear in your Unclaimed airdrops.

Important to keep in mind: All rejections are final and cannot be reversed, please be sure to triple-check when rejecting NFT offers.


Where can I find claim links?

Claim links are offered by Creators or Collectors on Voice either directly to your account or through a reusable claim link that can be shared through social media such as Twitter. For discovering new artists and offered claim links, we recommend checking our Discord channel: #giveaways as well as following your favorite Voice artist's social media account(s) linked within their Voice profile page.

Keep in mind: All NFTs offered through reusable claim links are on a first come-first-serve basis until all available editions are claimed, so be sure to act quickly!


What if I can't claim an NFT and/or see an error message?

If you can't claim an NFT:

  • Ensure the NFT still has available editions left for you to claim.

If you still can't claim an NFT and/or see an error message:
